Introduction

Tomica No. 11 Subaru Legacy (トミカ No. 11 スバルレガシィ) is a toy released within the classic Tomica toyline. It is primarily released in Japan.

Overview

The Subaru Legacy was released in October 2003, and retired July, 2008. It replaced the No. 11 Hino Semi Trailer Transport Tank and was succeeded by the No. 11 Subaru Impreza WRX STI.

A white first-edition variant was also released.

Description

The toy includes the main figure of the Subaru Legacy.

It is a 1/60 model of the real-life vehicle, specifically the fourth-generation, pre-facelift Subaru Legacy Touring Wagon BP variant, produced between 2003 and 2006 in real life. It has working suspension.

Trivia

• It is the 3rd vehicle to be assigned the number "11".

• Its base is the Subaru New Legacy Touring Wagon.

• Because it was originally issued as a promo car, early versions of this model have "No. 11" printed on the base as an afterthought. Later versions on the other hand, have "No. 11" moulded into the baseplate.

• It sports moulded side mirrors, a rarity for 2000s Tomica castings. This is also due to the fact that it originated as a promo car.

• Early editions of this model seem to suffer from overly thick paint applications, though this seems to have been corrected for later issues.
