Tomica No. 16 Isuzu Gala JR Bus Tohoku (トミカ No. 16 いすゞ ガーラジェイアールバス東北) is a toy released within the classic Tomica toyline. It is primarily released in Japan.

Overview

The Isuzu Gala JR Bus Tohoku was released May 19, 2012, and retired February, 2019. It replaced the No. 16 Suzuki Swift Sport Rallycup Car and was succeeded by the No. 16 Lamborghini Urus. A blue first-edition variant was also released.

Description

The toy includes the main figure of the Isuzu Gala JR Bus Tohoku.

It is a 1/171 model of the real-life vehicle. It is colored to match the Hayabusa line of Shinkansens.

Trivia

• It is the 6th vehicle to be assigned the number "16".

• It was used as a base for the No. 36 Thomasland Express, Tomica City Bus (TCN), Ottootto Bus (Morinaga Wrapping Bus Set) and Ciscorn Sightseeing Bus (Nissin Foods Ad Car Set).

• While technically itself a variant of the No. 42 Hato Bus (2008), the scale is different for this model.
