The Nissan Cube was released on December 20, 2008, and retired September, 2012. It replaced the No. 17 Toyota Celsior (2001) and was succeeded by the No. 17 Nissan March Police Car.

The toy is a 1/63 scale model of the Nissan Cube, specifically its third-generation Z12 variant in Ash Blue, produced between 2008 and 2019 in real life. It has working suspension.
