Tomica No. 48 Toyota Vellfire (トミカ No. 48 トヨタヴェルファイア) is a toy released within the classic Tomica toyline. It is primarily released in Japan.

Overview

The Toyota Vellfire was released on November 21, 2009, and was retired in April 2014. It replaced the No. 48 Toyota Hiace Multi Purpose Car and was succeeded by the No. 48 Suzuki Alto Police Car.

Description

The toy is a 1/59 model of the 2008-2012, first generation Toyota Vellfire. Its rear doors can slide open.

• It is the 8th vehicle to be assigned the number "48".

• It is essentially a less detailed version of the previously released Tomica Limited Toyota Vellfire casting.

• It was used as a base for the Toyota Vellfire (Tomica Shop), Event Model ★★★ No. 15- Toyota Vellfire, and Toyota Vellfire (Let's Play at the Car Port! Big Collection of One-Box Cars Set).
