The Nissan Cedric Patrol Car was released February, 2000, and retired May, 2009. It replaced the No. 58 Nissan Cedric Patrol Car (1988) and was succeeded by the No. 58 Suzuki Wagon R (2009).

It is a 1/63 model of the real-life vehicle. It has working suspension and its doors can be opened.

• It is the 5th vehicle to be assigned the number "58".

• A No. 58 Nissan Cedric Patrol Car was also released in 1988, but with a different base.

• Its base is the No. 87 Nissan Cedric.

• The Nissan Cedric Patrol Car which was released as a Tomica Expo game prize was near identical. However, that version was produced in Vietnam, and the text on the car was stamped on, as opposed to being a sticker label like with this version.
