Overview

The Mazda Atenza Owner Driver Taxi was released on March 19, 2016, and retired August, 2018. It replaced the No. 62 Mazda Atenza and was succeeded by the No. 62 LaFerrari.

Description

The toy is a 1/66 scale model of the 2013-2016 Mazda 6 [GJ] in the livery of the Tokyo Metropolitan Taxi Cooperative. It has working suspension and its doors can be opened.

Trivia

• It is the 10th vehicle to be assigned the number "62".

• Its base is the No. 62 Mazda Atenza, which it replaces.

• It marked the return of a privately owned taxi to the Tomica range after the No.60 Toyota Mark X Owned Car was discontinued in January 2013.

• When it was discontinued, it was the last Tomica sedan to feature opening doors.
