Tomica No. 99 Toyota Sienta (トミカ No. 99 トヨタシエンタ) is a toy released within the classic Tomica toyline. It is primarily released in Japan.

Overview

The Toyota Sienta was released July 16, 2016, and retired March, 2019. It replaced the No. 99 Nissan Serena and was succeeded by the No. 99 Pizza-La Delivery Bike.

Description

The toy includes replicates the second generation Toyota Sienta, launched in Japan in July 2015.

It is a 1/60 model of the real-life vehicle. It has working suspension and its trunk can be opened.

Trivia

• It is the 8th vehicle to be assigned the number "99" and the first time since 2010 that no.99 is a Toyota minivan.

• It was used as a base for the Special Firefighting Squad- Toyota Sienta (Tomica Kuji 22) and Toyota Sienta (Toys' Kingdom).

• This is the first time Tomica released the Sienta, as they never modeled the first generation.

• Interestingly enough, the front grille is a separate plastic piece, rather than part of the metal casting.
