Tomica No. 78 Subaru Impreza (トミカ No. 78 スバルインプレッサ) is a toy released within the classic Tomica toyline. It is primarily released in Japan.

Overview

The Subaru Impreza was released on August 19, 2017, and retired July, 2019. It replaced the No. 78 Subaru Levorg and was succeeded by the No. 78 Nissan GT-R Nismo 2020 Model. A silver first-edition variant of the Sport hatchback was also released.

In 2019, it was released in the US, Canada, and Australia, exclusively at Walmart stores (Standard color only).

Description

The toy is a 1/63 scale model of the fifth generation Subaru Impreza G4 [GK], produced since 2016 in real life. It has working suspension and its hood can be opened.

Trivia

• It is the 10th vehicle to be assigned the number "78".

• It was used as the base for the Event Model ★★ No. 15- Subaru Impreza. It also appears in black as an unmarked police car in a DVD set.

• This is one of the models where the two versions are not identical.
