Tomica No. 99 Toyota Estima (トミカ No. 99 トヨタエスティマ) is a toy released within the classic Tomica toyline. It is primarily released in Japan.

Overview

The Toyota Estima was released on February 17, 2007, and retired November, 2010. It replaced the No. 99 Toyota Estima (2000) and was succeeded by the No. 99 Nissan Serena.

Description

The toy is a 1/65 scale replica of the third generation Toyota Estima, produced between 2006 and 2010. Its rear doors can slide open.

Trivia

• It is the 6th vehicle to be assigned the number "99".

• This is the third generation of Estima replicated by Tomica, with the first two generations having been issued in 1992 and 2000 respectively.

• It was used as a base for the Event Model ★ No. 23- Toyota Estima, Toyota Estima (Touring Collection), Toyota Estima (40th Tokyo Motor Show), Toyota Estima Hutch's Mama Car, Toyota Estima Golden Chokkirin Car, and Toyota Estima Chocoringuma Car, No. 26 Shimajiro Car, Shimajiro Car (426GT).

• This was the last Tomica Toyota Estima to be released as No. 99, as the subsequent model would be released as the No. 100 Toyota Estima.

• It was the first Tomica minivan to feature dual sliding rear doors.

• Unlike the No. 99 Toyota Estima (1992) and The No. 99 Toyota Estima (2000), Including the No. 100 Toyota Estima, Which all of them, had opening tailgate, This version was the only one to have sliding doors.
