Introduction

Hyper Rescue No. 1 Type II (ハイパーレスキュー1号(II型)) is a toy released within the Tomica Hyper Series toyline. It is primarily released in Japan.

Overview

Hyper Rescue No. 1 Type II was released November, 2009. Aesthetically, it doesn't have much in common with the previously-released Hyper Rescue No. 1, other than the both of them being fire-vehicles. It resembles a more traditional fire truck, while the earlier version features a more tank-like design.

Description

The toy includes the main figure of the Hyper Rescue No. 1 Type II. A small vehicle can be loaded inside and a figure of the rescue members can be placed in the cockpit. The vehicle makes lights and sounds. The side of the vehicle opens to form a ramp. The hoses on the top can be lifted or expanded. Additionally, there are retractable hoses and a crane attached to the vehicle.

The figure is capable of combining with the Hyper Rescue No. 2 Type II (which itself can combine with the Hyper Rescue No. 3 Type II) or with the Hyper Rescue Hyper Ambulance.

Trivia

• A version in the size of a standard Tomica vehicle was released as part of the Dream Tomica toyline in December 2012. See Dream Tomica No. 149 Hyper Rescue No. 1 Type II.

• Two miniature versions were also released using the Tecology system.
