Introduction

Tomica No. 110 Toyota Crown Patrol Car (トミカ No. 110 トヨタクラウンパトロールカー) is a toy released within the classic Tomica toyline. It is primarily released in Japan.

Overview

The Toyota Crown Patrol Car was released on January 15, 2005 and retired November, 2008. It replaced the No. 110 Toyota Vitz and was succeeded by the No. 110 Toyota Crown Patrol Car (2008).

Description

The toy is a 1/63 model of the twelfth-generation Toyota Crown [S180] in the livery of the Japanese police. It has working suspension and its front doors can open.

Trivia

• It is the 4th vehicle to be assigned the number "110" and the first police car to do so. As 110 is the Japanese emergency number, this was probably not a coincidence.

• This casting was later modified in 2008, around the same time that Tomy was shifting its production from China to Vietnam.

• It is based on the earlier No. 32 Toyota Crown (2004) casting.

• It was used as a base for the Toyota Crown Patrol Car (Tomica Kuji VII), Toyota Crown (AEON), Patrol Car (Tomica & Plakids), Toyota Crown Radar Patrol Car (Emergency Vehicle Set 4), and No. 0154 Toyota Crown Patrol Car.
