Tomica No. 24 MR-2 (Prototype) (トミカ No. 24 トヨタＭＲ－２（プロトタイプ）) is a toy released within the classic Tomica toyline. It is primarily released in Japan.

The MR-2 (Prototype) was released June, 1984, and retired May, 1995. It replaced the No. 24 Fuso Container Truck and was succeeded by the No. 24 Toyota RAV4.

The toy includes the main figure of the MR-2 (Prototype).

It is a 1/56 model of the real-life vehicle. It has super speed and its doors can be opened.

• It is the 4th vehicle to be assigned the number "24".

• It was used as a base for the Toyota MR2 (Toys Dream Project), Special Model ★★★ No. 11- Toyota MR2, and Toyota MR2 Gold-Plated Version (Tomica Expo 2006).
