Introduction

Tomica No. 8 Toyota Raize (トミカ No.8 トヨタ ライズ) is a toy released within the classic Tomica toyline. It is primarily released in Japan.

Overview

The Toyota Raize was released July 17, 2021, and retired August, 2023. It replaced the No. 8 Mitsubishi Fuso Aero Star Tachikawa Bus x Rilakkuma and was succeeded by the No. 8 Nissan Sakura. A white first-edition variant was also released.

Description

The toy includes the main figure of the Toyota Raize.

It is a 1/61 model of the real-life vehicle. It has working suspension, and its back door can be opened.

Trivia

• It is the 11th vehicle to be assigned the number "8”.

• This is actually a No. 36 Daihatsu Rocky, as this is the second time (or third) Tomica replicated cars from Daihatsu but have Toyota versions that they have released. However, there are minor differences between the models. The front of the cars is different, and this model had an opening trunk, which the Daihatsu lacked.
