It was the second release in the Taiyou ni Hoero! series, inspired by a prime-time detective series of the same name, which aired for 718 episodes on NTV, between 1972 and 1986.

Description

The toy includes two vehicles, the Mitsubishi Galant Σ Patrol Car and Nissan Gloria.

Both are 1/64 models of the real-life vehicle, manufactured by Mitsubishi and Nissan in the 1960's and 1970's.

Trivia

• They are based on the LV-N103 series and LV-40 series, respectively.

• Although this set is branded under the "Limited Vintage Neo" line, the Nissan Gloria is actually a Limited Vintage item.
