Introduction

Tomica Shop Award Selection (トミカショップ アワード セレクション) is a toy released within the Tomica Shop toyline. It is primarily released in Japan.

Overview

The Tomica Shop Award Selection was released August, 2017, exclusively at Tomica Shops. The set was not for sale, and was instead available for exchange of 600 points. At Tomica Shops, 1 point is earned for each 100 yen spent, so it required spending an equivalent of 60000 yen (roughly 600 USD.)

Description

The set comes with three vehicles:

• Isuzu Elf Backhoe Truck (いすゞ エルフ バックホー トラック)

• Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 (ランボルギーニ アヴェンタドール ＬＰ ７００-４)

• Mercedes-Benz Citaro Articulated Bus (メルセデスベンツ シターロ 連節バス) (A Long Type Tomica)

Each vehicle in the set had a silver color-scheme, and included the Tomica Shop logo. They each had variants which were sold regularly in the Tomica Shop.

The set did not include the silver plaque shown on the box.

Trivia

• The respective bases for the three vehicles were the Isuzu Elf Destroyer Car (Fire Engine Collection (2009)), No. 87 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 and No. 134 Mercedes-Benz Citaro Keisei Articulated Bus.
